"Pollution affects everything from the air we breathe, to the water we drink, the food we eat and the quality of life we enjoy. Today, pollution, this century's black plague, the curse of rapid industrialization fueled by population growth, is everywhere and the toll on world health is staggering. The impact of the environment and human health is a central component of naturopathic medicine and is becoming more of more of heart of the science of medicine."

You are running late for work and forgot to pack your lunch. You decide to go to Mcdonalds for lunch. It's hot outside so you turn the AC on full blast. On the floor of your car is an old Wendy's bag, you pull out your air freshner and give your car a quick spray... At work you notice a book on fasting and removing toxins from your body. Rolling your eyes you toss it to the side. What toxins you think and leave the book behind as you walk to your desk.....
We live in a world full of toxins.... Air freshners are filled with toxins and when we spray them around our house we breathe it in, which over time has been linked to cancer and other health problems. Most household appliances are toxic and people use them on a daily basis.
" Dry cleaning has solvents such as tetrachloroethylene and trichloroethylene. They affect vision and hearing, and a re also listed as carcinogens. Look for cleaners who use steam instead of solvents. If your only option is a dry cleaner who uses solvents, be sure to remove the plastic cover from your clothing and air it out for a few weeks before wearing it. Microwave ovens can release phthalates in plastics such as baby bottles. They are "hormonal mimics" for estrogen that may cause young girls to develop prematurely and young boys to have estrogen-like effects. Choose a glass baby bottle instead, and use hot water to warm it up. Air fresheners contain benzene, a carcinogen, and toluene, terpenes and furans, which can lead to neurological and behavioral changes. Instead of using air fresheners, go with scented candles."
I stumbled upon a great book called "The complete Master Cleanse" by Tom Woloshyn, in it he describes how fasting (can be a juice fast, but in this book you use lemons, cayenne pepper, salt, maple syrup and water and drink 64 ounces a day) (8, 8oz drinks)....
I have already described the miracle herb cayenne pepper, and used in combination with lemons, maple syrup, and water acts like a catalyst--"it makes the other herbs react, and thus works more effectively. cayenne pepper is a stimulant that raises metabolism, increases circulation, and helps many digestive disorders. Like lemon, cayenne breaks up and loosens mucus in the body. This benefits the sinuses, the bronchial tubes, and the lungs and allows clearer and easier breathing.
The fast is for 10 days, and during these 10 days you drink only liquids (lemon, cayenne mix) you consume 6-10 glasses a day, each glass is 80z.
Here is what you will need for a 10 day cleanse
- 60-80 organic lemons
- 2 quarts maple syrup
- 1/2 cup sea salt (make sure its sea salt)
- 10 gallons of good water
- 2 ounces cayenne pepper
- sufficient herbal laxative
salt water bath:
2 teaspoons (NOT tablespoon) of UNiodized sea salt to 1 quart of warm water. "the salt water is mixed to the same salinity as your blood. when you drink this mixture the salinity causes the water not to be absorbed into the bloodstream" (you drink this once a day in the morning) or you can take a tea laxative in the morning instead.
For the cleanse you need
- 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/10 teaspoon of cayenee pepper
- mix it with 8 oz of water, drink within 10 minutes (drink 6-10 glasses a day, NO FOOD allowed during the cleanse)
